Carolina Mejía de Garrigó

Carolina Mejía de Garrigó (b. Santiago de los Caballeros, 28 March 1969) is a politician, economist, and businesswoman from the Dominican Republic.
Biography
Rosa Carolina Mejía Gómez[1] was born in Santiago de los Caballeros on 28 March 1969 to Hipólito Mejía, former President of the Dominican Republic, and Rosa Gómez; Carolina has 2 brothers and 1 sister.[2][3] She married to Juan Antonio Garrigó Lefeld, exective of Quantum GR, a brokerage and insurance consulting firm; they have 3 children: Juan de Jesús, Diego José, and Isabel Garrigó Mejía.[4]
In the early 2000s she was member of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s Board.[5] In 2016 she became the vice presidential candidate of the Modern Revolutionary Party.[4]
