Alumni of St. Patrick's College, Thurles, Tipperary, Ireland. The College was founded in 1837 and had both a lay college and seminary, from 1907 until 1988 the college was exclusively a Seminary. From 1973 until 2002 when the Seminary ceased some of the Colleges courses were validated by Maynooth College. In the 19th century Students were able to sit exams from the University of London. Clerical students of the Pallotine College nearby also studied at Thurles.

Today the College is a College of Education with teaching degrees since 2011 being award by the University of Limerick, prior to that from 1977 the Colleges degrees were accredited by NCEA/HETAC .
