DJ Suketu (born Suketu Radia) is a Mumbai-based DJ.[1][2]

He became one of the highest selling Indian DJs with hit's like "Pyar Zindagi Hai", "Bin Tere Sanam", "Woh Lamhe" and "Kya Khoob Lagti Ho" becoming instant club classics in India.

One of his most popular remixes "Bin Tere Sanam" was released soon on the compilation 'War of The DJs 2'.

Bollywood

His official remix of "Woh Lamhe" from the movie Zeher is one of the most popular remixes in Bollywood history. The song gained immense success across India and also in countries such as UK.[citation needed]. The brilliant track featuring Atif Aslam on the vocals gave a definition to remix and electronic music in India. The video was also a huge success with Emraan Hashmi and DJ Suketu featuring in it. It wasn't much time when the remix of the popular track "Aadat" from the Pakistani band Jal was released in the movie Kalyug. The track again featured vocals from Atif. The remix by Suketu created a rave in India.

He produced the official remixes for the movie Awarapan in 2007. "To Phir Aao", "Mahiyaa" & "Tera Mera Rishta" ruled the charts throughout featuring Mustafa Zahid and Annie on the vocals. Other remixes include songs from the smash hit movies "Raaz 2" and "Race" which include his mixes of "O Jaana", "Maahi" and "Pehli Nazar Mein", "Allah Duhai", "Zara Zara (Touch Me)" respectively. Remixes of Kismat Konnection were also by Suketu such as "Bakhuda". In 2008, he remixed the popular song "Bandya" from the critically acclaimed movie Khuda Kay Liye and also mixed a song from Rahul Sharma and Richard Clayfermans 2008 album "The Confluence".

In 2009, he produced all the remixes of the tracks in the blockbuster b'wood movie Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani containing music composed by Pritam. The remixes ruled the Bollywood with smash hits such as "Tera Hone Laga Hoon" and "Tu Jaane Na".

His recent remixes include the tracks from the movie Prince. The leading tracks were "O Mere Khuda", "Kaun Hoon Main", "Aa Bhi Ja Sanam" and the chart-topper track "Tere Liye" with vocals from Atif.

He was recently seen on Top rated Indian Television show Jhalak Dikhlaja[3][4] with jury member like Remo D'souza, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit on Colors (TV channel), Where he mixed live set of music for the contestant.[5]

DJ Suketu won the jury panel award of MyFavDJ.in, an online campaign conducted in 2010, to find India's most popualr DJ's across genres. He won the best Bollywood DJ/Remix Producer.

He has also performed in the celebrity nights of reputed college festivals in India, such as IIM Ahemadabad's Chaos [6] and Shri Ram College of Commerce's Crossroads [7] and BITS-Pilani,K.K. Birla Goa Campus' Waves in 2009. More recently he performed at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion Hospital, as a part of their annual cultural festival, Ashwamedh.
