Derek Fray

Derek John Fray FRS, FREng[1] is a British material scientist, and professor at the University of Cambridge.[2][3][4][5]
Life
Derek Fray was educated at Emanuel School, and earned a BSc, and PhD from Imperial College London.
He is a consultant, to Verde Potash Plc,[6] and White Mountain Titanium Corporation.[7] He was elected a Fellow[8] of the Royal Academy of Engineering[9]
He was awarded the Beilby Medal and Prize in 1981.[10] A symposium was held in his name in 2011.[11]
