Edgar Brooks (1914[1] — 1986 (aged 71-72)[2]) born in Oldham, Lancashire, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, '40s and '50s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Oldham as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, he died in Oldham.

International honours

Edgar Brooks won caps for England while at Oldham in 1939 against France, in 1940 against Wales, and in 1941 against Wales.[3]
