Erica Mendez is an American voice actress from Chicago, Illinois.[1] Her first major voice role was the title character Pac-Man in the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures video game. She then later voiced the starring character Aladdin in the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic series and Ryuko Matoi in the English dub of Kill la Kill.[2][3] On July 3, 2015, it was announced that she would voice Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus in the Viz Media English dub of Sailor Moon.[4] On March 19, 2016, it was announced that she would voice Gon Freecss in the Viz Media English dub of the 2011 anime adaptation of Hunter x Hunter.[5] In an interview featuring the Yuki Yuna is a Hero English cast, Mendez said she has two younger sisters. She studied graphic design in college for three years prior to becoming a voice actress.[6]
