Hera is the name of a character in the reimagined TV series of Battlestar Galactica.

Hera is the name of the Human-Cylon hybrid child between Sharon 'Athena' Agathon and Karl 'Helo' C. Agathon. The child's adoptive mother, Maya has subsequently named her Isis.

Hera is the name of one of the Ladies of Kobol (Goddesses of the Colonials).

The Gates of Hera is a valley pass between two peaks on the path that the leaders of the 13 tribes of Kobol took to the Tomb of Athena. It is where Athena jumped to her death.

The name Hera was based on a goddess from Greek mythology who was identified by the Roman Juno.
