Hippocampus debelius, the softcoral seahorse, was described in 2009 and is known to occur in Egypt although it is suspected to occur in other areas of the Red Sea.[1] It is a relatively small seahorses with a maximum reported size of 3.5 cm and is often found associated with corals.[1]
