Kaveh Mehrabi (born 5 May 1982) is a professional Iranian badminton player. He was born in Tehran.

On April 10, 2003 Mehrabi moved to Copenhagen, Denmark to become the first Iranian professional badminton player and practice at the International Badminton Academy.[1]

Mehrabi participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[2]

Kaveh Mehrabi is today a member of the ‘Champions for Peace’ club, a group of more than 70 famous elite athletes committed to serving peace in the world through sport, created by Peace and Sport, a Monaco-based international organization.[3]

Career

Kaveh Mehrabi has participated at six BWF World Championships already. He has represented Iran at all of the World Championships since 2005.Kaveh is the only Iranian that has qualified for the 2011 BWF World Championship, which is one of the key qualification tournaments for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Kaveh Mehrabi is the Athletes' Commission Chairman and a Council member of the Badminton World Federation.
