Mae Daet (Thai: แม่แดด) is a tambon (subdistrict) of Galyani Vadhana District, in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. In 2012 it had a total population of 3,601 people.[1]
History
The subdistrict was created in 1995, when 5 administrative villages were split off from Ban Chan subdistrict.[2]
Administration
The subdistrict is divided into 8 administrative villages. The Mae Daet subdistrict administrative organization is the local government responsible for the whole subdistrict area, established in 1999.[3]
