Matthew Ansara

Matthew Michael Ansara (August 29, 1965 – June 25, 2001) was an American actor and bodybuilder. His parents were actors Michael Ansara and Barbara Eden. Ansara's first acting work was at age 15 in the pilot episode of Harper Valley PTA. His credits include Your Mother Wears Combat Boots, To Protect and Serve, and Con Games.
On June 25, 2001, Ansara was found dead in his pickup truck outside a gas station in suburban Los Angeles, the result of a heroin overdose.[1] He was 35 years old.
He was divorced in 1995 after a two-year marriage with Julie Ansara. At the time of his death, he was engaged to be married to Leanna Green in just 6 weeks.
