Percy Quin State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is located off I-55 approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of McComb. It is named after Percy Quin, a former U.S. Representative from Mississippi. It is one of the nine original state parks in Mississippi built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.[2]
Activities and amenities
The park features boating, waterskiing and fishing on 700-acre (280 ha) Lake Tangipahoa, a convention center, 22 primitive and 100 developed campsites, cabins, villas, and a lodge, an 8-mile (13 km) nature trail, picnic area, and an 18-hole golf course, Quail Hollow.[3]
