Philippe Sylvain

Philippe Sylvain (1915 – 1993) was a Quebecker historian.

Biography

Philippe Sylvain was born in Saint-Elzéar, Beauce. He studied at Laval University and the Sorbonne in Paris. His research focused on the history of the founders of Université Laval and important religious figures in Quebec.
