Quality Street Music is the fourth studio album by American hip hop artist DJ Drama, released on October 2, 2012. The album features guests appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, T-Pain, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Future, Nipsey Hussle, Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Jeremih, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka Flame, Tyler, The Creator, among others.

Singles

The album's lead single, "We in This Bitch" was released as a digital download on February 29, 2012. The song features American hip hop recording artists Future, Young Jeezy, T.I., Ludacris, and was produced by Kane Beatz.[2] The song peaked at number 68 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The music video was released on May 8, 2012, and it was directed by Benny Boom.

The album's second single, "My Moment", was released on June 29, 2012, via iTunes.[3] The song was produced by T-Minus and features rappers 2 Chainz and Meek Mill along with R&B singer Jeremih. It peaked at number 23 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, number 16 on the Rap Songs, and number 89 on the Hot 100. It has become DJ Drama's most successful single to date. The music video was shot at OVO Fest, in Toronto, on August 6, 2012. DJ Drama gathered the song's featured artists and also released behind-the-scenes pictures of the video shoot via his Instagram.[4] The music video premiered on MTV Jams on September 9, 2012.

The album's third single was a second version of "We in This Bitch", which was called "We in This Bitch 1.5", also featuring southern rapper Future with a new verse, and Canadian hip hop recording artist Drake. It was released on May 11, 2012, but only came out as a digital single on September 4, 2012.[5][6]

The album's fourth single, "Never Die" featuring hip hop recording artists Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, Nipsey Hussle and American singer-songwriter Cee Lo Green and was produced by Cardiak. It was released on September 15, the same day that the track list for the album came out.[7]

Upon Quality Street Music's release, "So Many Girls", featuring Wale, Tyga and Roscoe Dash peaked #44 at the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs.[8] A cover for the song was released on October 8.[9] It was released as a single in February 20, 2013,[10] and debuted on the Hot 100 at #89, becoming one of DJ Drama's most successful singles to date.[8]

"Pledge of Allegiance" featuring Wiz Khalifa, Planet VI & B.o.B. debuted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at #48 despite never being released as a single.

Commercial performance

The album debuted at number fifteen on the Billboard 200 and at number three on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 25,000 copies on its first week.[11] Quality Street Music is DJ Drama's highest charting album to date. As of Feb. 7 2013 it has sold 51,080 copies.[12]
