Rajeev Shankarrao Satav ( Born 21st September 1974, age 41 ) is the Member of Parliament ( M.P ) from Hingoli in Maharashtra, secured 467397 votes. He replaced Subhash Wankhede, Shivsena M.P. & three times MLA. He was President of the Indian Youth Congress, ( February 2010 to December 2014 ) before occupying the prestigious position of President of Indian Youth Congress, he was President of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress. ( May 2008 to February 2010 )

He has the distinction of wresting the Assembly seat in Marathwada region from the Shiv Sena after 20 years in the 2009 elections and secured 67804 votes

During Akhilesh Yadav’s tenure as Uttar Pradesh(UP) Chief Minister, Indian Youth Congress did UP assembly Gherao at Lucknow. 3. Indian Youth Congress did Karnataka assembly Gherao in protest of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). 4. Protest against the UP Government for non implementation of food security law. 5. Did Bihar Assembly Gherao in protest of none implementation of food security law. 6. Protest against senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj in front of BJP head quarters in Delhi. 7. Protest against senior BJP leader and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in front of BJP head quarters in Delhi for describing Nirbhaya rape case as a small incident. 8. Agitation outside Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi protesting repetitive cease-fire violation by Pakistan in Indian border. 9. Karwa- First ever alumni meet of present and former Youth Congress National office bearers and State Presidents. It was organized in 2014 at New Delhi. 3. Relief camps for the Muzaffarnagar Riot victims.
