Sandra Prodanović, better known by the name, Sandra Afrika, is a Serbian turbo-folk singer.[1]

She was born in Belgrade to the Prodanović family. She has a mother Jasmina, brother Miloš and a sister Anita.[2] She began her career as a member of the accompanying dance groups 'Milojka Mila Kitica'. Actually, she was one of the girls who performed the choreographed dances at their performances. In that period the media have emphazised her attributes, so she decided to have a go as a soloist. In the year 2007 she released her first single 'Afrika' which is how she got her current 'nickname'.[3]

She carried on with her work and now releases at least 2 songs a year. In partnership with the publishing section of television DM SAT, Sandra in 2011 released an album 'Sandra Afrika'.[4] In the album there is her first ten songs- from 'Afrika' 2007 to 'Samo Poželi' 2011.
