Servivensa is an airline based in Caracas, Venezuela. It operated scheduled domestic flights between 1990 and 2003.

History

The airline was established in 1990. Its operations were temporarily suspended in May 2003 when parent airline Avensa announced that it was grounding its aircraft due to a drop in demand of air traffic. As of 2012, it has not resumed flights.

Accidents and incidents

  • On 17 December 1994, Douglas C-47A YV-761-C crashed on approach to Cerro Aicha Airport killing all nine people on board.[2]
  • On 2 October 1998, Douglas DC-3C YV-611C crashed on approach to Canaima Airport. The aircraft had been on a local sightseeing flight to view the Angel Falls. One of the 25 people on board was killed.[3]
