Shahganj is a city and a municipal board in Jaunpur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2011[update] India census,[1] Shahganj had a population of 26,656. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Shahganj has an average literacy rate of 59%, Lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 61%, and female literacy is 57%.
