Shikshanirman is a non-profit and non-governmental organization based in India.[1][2] Headquartered in Delhi, India, Shikshanirman works in the field of child education.[3]

Aim
Shikshanirman aspires to reach out to every unprivileged child and provide them means to peruse quality education, set up libraries in sparsely funded schools, running career counselling classes and providing monetary help to needy students.
History
Shikshanirman was established in 2011 with an aim to provide education to poor and needy students. It is run by professional and volunteers who are non-salaried and work on pro bono basis.[4]
Vision
Shikshanirman envisions an India where all children have access to quality education irrespective of their social and financial status.
Locations
Shikshanirman has presence in Delhi-NCR and in Jaipur. They are also running weekend library for underprivileged childrens in Ghaziabad.
Projects
The various projects run by Shikshanirman are:[5]
- Construction of school buildings
- Establishing libraries in sparsely funded schools
- Donating books to poor schools
Beside these projects, Shikshanirman also provide career counselling and conducts workshops for students. The NGO has established libraries and donated books to various schools in Eastern UP.
Volunteering
Shikshanirman runs two type of volunteering program:
- Academic: Here one can participate in teaching activities, engage in preparing teaching learning aids, work on latent talent development programs like Theatre, Dance, Singing, Painting, etc. & SUPW (Gardening, School Sanitation, Tree Plantation, etc.).
- Community Program: In community program volunteers can assist in campaigning for various issues and participate in community mobilization to enhance community participation & sensitize them on various issues.
Fund Raising
Shikshanirman runs various programs using the donations and funding it receives from people.[6] It has run numerous campaigns for fund raising. The fund collected is used for running various developmental projects.[7]
