Smilavichy

Smilavichy (Belarusian: Смілавічы, Śmiłavičy) or Smilovichi (Russian: Смило́вичи ) is a town settlement in Belarus in the Minsk Province, located at Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. at 156 m altitude.[1]
In Jewish tradition it is known as Smilovitz (Yiddish, historical usage from when it was a shtetl in the Russian Empire). The village is the birthplace of the renowned painter Chaim Soutine.
