Stacey Evans is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Evans proposed dropping down the GPA requirements for a HOPE Grant for the Technical College System of Georgia back to their original level, after raised standards caused a precipitous drop in technical school attendance. Evans's proposal ultimately became law. Evans is now pushing to have HOPE grants cover the full cost of technical school tuition.[1] In addition to serving in the legislature, Evans is also a partner at Wood, Hernacki & Evans, LLC.[2]
