Notes:
  1. 1.0 1.1 CSKA Sofia, the winners of the 2015–16 Bulgarian Cup, would have qualified for the Europa League second qualifying round, but are excluded from participating in the 2016–17 European competitions by the UEFA Club Financial Control Body.[1]. As a result, the runners-up of the 2015–16 A Group, Levski Sofia, enter the second qualifying round instead of the first qualifying round, and the first qualifying round berth will be given to the fourth-placed team, Slavia Sofia.
