Template:CPC/doc

Purpose

This template is for usage by administrators, OTRS agents and copyright problems board clerks at the copyright problems board to note resolution of daily listings. Other contributors are welcome to provide feedback, but should not use these templates, which suggest that a listing is resolved.

Usage

• {{subst:CPC|code}}. (See table for complete list of codes.) Signature and indentation are automatic for listings at Wikipedia:Copyright problems and Wikipedia:Suspected copyright violations.

For example, {{subst:CPC|b}} produces

• Backwardscopy. Tag and explanation placed at talk page. --Example (talk) 09:22, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

You can provide an optional comment at the end, by specifying adding a second parameter. For example, {{subst:CPC|n|See [http://example.com copyright policy] for details.}} produces:

• No copyright concern. Material PD or appropriately licensed for use. See copyright policy for details. --Example (talk) 09:22, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Table of codes

These templates are optional ways to quickly generate a signed explanation of how a matter was handled. Notes may be left manually as well.
