Tim Modise
Timothy Molefe Modise (born 8 September 1961 in Pretoria) is a South African journalist, TV and radio presenter. He has also held a number of senior positions in governmental and non-governmental organisations, including chairing the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee and advising the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.[1]
Born on 8 September 1961 in Pretoria, he attended Moruleng Secondary School[1] before beginning his career in broadcasting.
His awards include SABC "Best Broadcaster in Radio" (1999), GQ Magazine's "Presenter Of The Year" (2001)[1] and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation's "Reconcilliation Award" (2001).[2]
He is also featured interviewing Nelson Mandela in the video Experience Ubuntu, supplied with every desktop installation of Ubuntu Linux.
Tim Modise currently presents Power Breakfast on PowerFM.[3]
