The 1998 FINA Women's World Water Polo Championship was the fourth edition of the event, organised by the world's governing body in aquatics, the FINA. The tournament was held from January 8 to January 16, 1998 and incorporated in the 1998 World Aquatics Championships, held in Perth, Australia.
