Plot
Laura (Cassidy) is a bus driver with a daughter named Stephanie (Leeds). A Dodge Charger appears in their hometown and several girls are kidnapped by the driver (who is never seen) and sexuell abused, some even murdered. When Stephanie is kidnapped right in front of Laura, she starts chasing the car with kids still on the bus, in an attempt to get Stephanie back.
During the chase, Laura is pulled over by a motorcycle cop, allowing the car to get away. While he is talking to Laura, the car shows up and rams the cop, killing him. The car then speeds away with Stephanie leaning out the window, crying for help. Laura chases after the car again, despite the kids pleading for her to slow down. Laura loses sight of the car, nearly driving off the edge of a cliff near a bridge in the process. The car appears behind the bus and rams it repeatedly, trying to send it over the edge, but Laura manages to start up the bus and back it away from the edge. The car then speeds off and Laura goes back after it.
Laura tracks the car down at a construction site and lets the kids off, asking them to call the police at a nearby place. She then goes back after the car. After a long hunt Stephanie manages it to escape from the Charger and climb onto the bus to her mother. Car and driver find their end when they drop into a canyon!
