"Fly Life" is a song by English house music duo Basement Jaxx. It was released as a single in May 1997 by record label Atlantic Jaxx and originally appeared on EP 3. It reached number 19 in the UK singles chart.

Content

"Fly Life" is based on the song "Live Your Life with Me" by Corrina Joseph. The vocals are performed by Joseph and by reggae artist Glamma Kid.[citation needed]

"Fly Life" was released as a single on 19 May 1997 by record label Atlantic Jaxx. It reached number 19 in the UK Singles Chart.[1]

Reception

The song was described by Colin Larkin in The Encyclopedia of Popular Music as a "club classic" and an "unusual blend of ragga and house".[2] The Brix Mix was included in Pitchfork Media's 2010 list of "twenty-five great remixes" of the 1990s.[3]
