Elections

The Frente de Todos is a coalition supporting the Argentine presidential candidate Alberto Fernández. At primary elections on Sunday 11 August 2019 the Frente de Todos presidential coalition headed by presidential candidate Alberto Fernández and vice presidential candidate Cristina Fernández de Kirchner took 47% of votes, going into the general election against Mauricio Macri in October 2019.[1] The coalition re-uses the name of an earlier coalition from 2001–2009.[2]

History

The Frente de Todos is a coalition that seeks the union of all sectors of Peronism (including Kirchnerism), and progressivism and radicalism, including political parties of the centre-left and left-wing, in order to avoid the continuation of the Mauricio Macri presidency. The front has the support of the General Confederation of Labor.
