Shin-Tochigi Station (新栃木駅 Shin Tochigi-eki?) is a railway station in Tochigi, Tochigi, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tobu Railway. The station is numbered "TN-12".

Lines

Shin-Tochigi Station is served by the Tobu Nikko Line, and is also a terminal station of the Tobu Utsunomiya Line. It is located 47.9 km from the starting point of the Tobu Nikko Line at Tōbu-Dōbutsu-Kōen and is 24.3 km from the opposing terminus of the Tobu Utsunomiya Line at Tobu Utsunomiya[1]

History

Shin-Tochigi Station opened on 1 April 1929.[1]

From 17 March 2012, station numbering was introduced on all Tobu lines, with Shin-Tochigi Station becoming "TN-12".[2]

In fiscal 2011, the station was used by an average of 3,519 passengers daily.[1]
