The Dancer of Paris is a 1926 American silent drama film produced and distributed by First National Pictures. Based on the short story of the same name by Michael Arlen, the film was directed by Alfred Santell and starred Dorothy Mackaill.[1] The Dancer of Paris is now considered lost.[2]
The film is noted for featuring Dorothy Mackaill nearly nude. In one scene, she appears in only beads and stones. In the film's final scene, MacKaill appeared in breastplates, a loin cloth and a cloak.[3]
