24626 Astrowizard (1980 TS3) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on October 9, 1980 by C. S. Shoemaker and E. M. Shoemaker at Palomar Observatory.

Name honors David V. Rodrigues (b. 1952) for educational outreach on astronomy to the public and school children, particularly by his wearing of a wizard outfit. Rodrigues is an astronomical lecturer at the Morrison Planetarium at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. He also serves as the program director of the East Bay Astronomical Society which meets at the Chabot Space & Science Center (Chabot Observatory).
