Geography

The place is surrounded by Tandava River which flows towards the Bay of Bengal. This village is known for its fertile lands that mainly grow sugar cane due to abundance of water from the river and tobacco. Due to fertile lands and being close to two major towns - Tuni and Narsipatnam which are connected by roads, this village is thriving in recent times.
