Occupation Singer

Scott Frew (born 5 November 1980) is a professional singer from Ayrshire in the West of Scotland. Scott Frew has been involved in the music industry for a number of years and despite his young age, is a veteran of live performance. His crisp vocals, extensive repertoire and energetic live shows have earned him accolades from industry insiders and fellow performers alike, and his diverse fan base have helped establish him as one of the most 'in demand' UK performers.

Band

In 2000, Frew was the lead singer with Scottish boyband Right Now, who went on to support chart topping acts 5ive and Steps at their sell-out 10,000 a night, SECC concerts in Glasgow. In June 2000, Right Now opened the very first Live 'n' Loud pop concert at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. Following the success of the concerts and media coverage, Frew and Right Now regularly featured on national television on the BBC Saturday morning TV show Live and Kicking.

Due to poor direction from the bands record label and the demise of the 1990s Boyband culture—owing much to the success of the hit TV show Popstars (which spawned the band Hear say)—Right Now struggled to maintain the level of success previously achieved.

In early 2002, Frew left the band to continue with his solo career.

Scott Frew is currently performing in venues around the UK.
