Sim Woo-Yeon (Hangul심우연; hanja沈禹姸; born 3 April 1985) is a South Korean football player who has played for Seongnam FC since 2013. He formerly played for FC Seoul and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. His preferred position is as an center back however he can also operate in a striker. He was assigned as the candidate of 2011 AFC Champions league Best 11 due to his performance as central defender.
