Simla is a census town in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is under Chinsurah police stations in Chinsurah subdivision.[1]

Demographics
As of the 2001 Indian census,[3] Simla had a population of 13,632. Males constituted 51% of the population and females 49%.
