"When Will I Be Famous?" is a song by British boy band Bros, released as a single on 16 November 1987 and later appearing on their 1988 album Push. Lyrically, the protagonist is either an agent/talent scout or closer friend of a rising star. As such, the well-known title and chorus is a case of the protagonist quoting his interlocutor rather than uttering those words in self-reference. The song originally peaked at number 62, but later entered the UK charts at number two when reissued. It reached number one in Ireland. The song was later used in a Hyundai commercial in 2000, leading to the eventual re-release of Push.
