A number of Nobel laureates are associated with the University of Copenhagen, either as graduates, researchers, or teaching staff.
The bulk of the 31 associated laureates are/were physics-related, owing to the Institute for Theoretical Physics headed by Niels Bohr, however an economics prize is also represented (Ohlin), as well as a literature prize (J. V. Jensen).
