Mission statement

The WCC defines its primary mission as making "the case for women's education to the higher education community, to policy makers, to the media and to the general public. Additionally, the Coalition collects and disseminates information relating to the education of women and gender equity in education. Other priority areas are the issues of recruitment and retention of women in math, science and engineering, and the development of women's leadership."[1]
